Coming into San Francisco is a big deal. The biggest is that I get to attend my daughter's wedding, which they scheduled purposefully to intersect my day off in San Fran. It's also the third of four layover days, a beautiful ride down the coast that gradually turns into city, and the crossing into San Fran by bike over the Golden Gate Bridge. Riding over the Bridge is just a spectacularly fun time. It's high, the views are gorgeous (the ocean, the rocky shoreline, the city in the distance, flights of pelicans, the beautiful 10-ft wide path), and even I never feel unsafe. Finally, I took several Waymo rides. Spectacular safe feeling, decent aggression, and loads of fun. Coming into town I met Rosana, Blue, and Giulia. Tomorrow, they will be married!
